  Community Harvest Food Bank
Welcome to Thompson Falls' Food Bank

Established in 1982, Community Harvest Food Bank is a non-profit organization that provides food to people at risk of hunger in Sanders County, Montana.  In 2006, the Food Bank distributed nearly 14 tons of food to hundreds of individuals.

Sadly, hunger remains a serious problem in Northwestern Montana.  Nearly 35 percent of the people served by the Food Bank are children, and another 20 percent are elderly.

It is the mission of the Food Bank to supply resources so that no one goes hungry in Sanders County.

Emergency help is available for special needs' cases, whether it be clothing, food, or household items.

God's Closet is housed in our facility and offers clean, useable clothing to all community members. Most items are priced at 25 cents or a bag of qualifying clothing for $3. God's Closet accepts clean, used clothing inside or after hours in the bin outside the front door.

Our food bank is supported by many generous individuals, and companies including

  • Harvest Foods
